Like many great love stories, ours began in the most unexpected place: work. Bailey and Eric met in 2021 during the height of COVID while working together at CSL Plasma—where Eric was actually Bailey’s boss! At the time, getting to know someone was a little more challenging, considering they were both covered head to toe in lab coats, gloves, face shields, and masks. In fact, for the first few weeks, they could only see each other’s eyes.
Despite all the layers of PPE, they hit it off immediately. Bailey was so certain there was something special about Eric that she called her mom and told her, “I’m going to marry this man one day.” The only problem? It took Eric a few months to work up the courage to ask her out.
When he finally did, he asked Bailey to grab coffee. Her response? “No. Let’s do something more fun than that—let’s go to the lake!” Thankfully, Eric agreed. Their first date lasted nearly 12 hours, and from that day on, they were inseparable. What started as a day at the lake became countless adventures, endless laughter, and a love story neither of them could have imagined.
Since then, they’ve built a beautiful life together, including welcoming their very spoiled baby boy, Moose, who quickly became the center of their world. Between days at the lake, new adventures, and making memories with family and friends, Moose has been right there alongside them for it all.
From seeing only each other’s eyes to building a home, a family, and a life side by side, they’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.
Nestled in the heart of Kentucky horse country, Bluegrass Distillers at Elkwood Farm blends historic charm with modern craftsmanship. The centerpiece of the property is the Elkwood Mansion, a stately brick home built in 1835 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Set on more than 60 acres of rolling farmland just outside Midway, the estate reflects the rich agricultural and bourbon heritage of the Bluegrass region. Today, Bluegrass Distillers carries on that tradition as a true grain-to-glass distillery, growing corn on-site and producing award-winning Kentucky bourbon. The distillery is also known for pioneering Kentucky's first blue corn bourbon, a unique expression that showcases both innovation and a deep respect for the state's distilling traditions. Elkwood Farm captures everything we love about Kentucky—its history, beauty, and sense of hospitality.

For your convenience, we have reserved a discounted room block at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Frankfort, a 13-minute drive from the venue. We encourage guests to book early and stay where is most convenient for their travel plans.

Vibrant florals, pastels, and bold seasonal colors are encouraged. This is a celebration—we love a statement dress! Wear shoes you can dance in (or easily kick off later!). We kindly ask guests to avoid black and white attire.
Linens, lightweight fabrics, and pastel hues are encouraged. Shorts are welcome, ties are not required. Think elevated, comfortable, and celebration-ready!

WAIT YOU'RE ALREADY MARRIED!?
Yes! Bailey and Eric eloped on June 2nd with their immediate families by their sides. It was the most perfect, intimate, stress-free day filled with so much love - wouldn't have changed a thing!
That said, they've always dreamed of celebrating their love with all of their favorite people! Think of this as one big celebration of their marriage: a wedding party! They can't wait to eat, drink, dance, and make memories with everyone they love.
WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY?
Please RSVP by August 1st, so we can finalize our guest count
CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?
If a plus one has been reserved for you, it will be indicated on your invitation
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
Vibrant florals, pastels, and bold seasonal colors are encouraged. Please no black or white attire, this is a party!! Please refer to the attire tab for more details.
WILL THE PARTY BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
The party will be a mix of both! The venue is both indoors and outdoors, please dress accordingly.
IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE?
Yes! There is plenty of complimentary parking on-site at the venue. If needed, cars can be left overnight. Just make sure you pick your car back up before noon the next day!
ARE CHILDREN INVITED?
Yes! If your child(ren) are listed on your invitation, we would be delighted to celebrate with them.
Please note that our venue is a working farm and there will be a fully open bar throughout the evening. We kindly ask parents to keep a close eye on their little ones so that everyone can enjoy a safe celebration!

Of course! We will have a fully open bar throughout the celebration. Beer, wine, 4 specialty cocktails, liquor, and non-alcoholic beverages are on us!
